I jsut got FSX on a new computer with Vista. Installing FSini wasa nightmare and caused a system crash. There is some help in moving this to that folder and doing "stuff" I don't knonw anything about.
Can SB4 be a simple click to download and all the necessary "stuff" goes into the right places? For Vista, XP and any other operating systems?
Please make SB4 idiot proof to install!!! |

| The SB4 install looks and works just like SB3, there may still be the need to edit your router setup and firewall. But since you've done most of that for SB3 you may need to do nothing. |

Messing with the firewall is one of those things that cause me to cringe. Will SB4 need to have the firewall disabled in order to run, or just for set up?
In any event, please keep updating your site as to when you think it will be released. I imaging, once released, I can download it from the VATSIM site - correct?? |

The firewall ports that have to be open will not change in SB4. This has nothing to do with SB4 as it is just a client. The Vatsim servers require communications through the ports therefore they have to be open.
The good news is that if you have already configured your firewall, you will not have to redo it for SB4.  |
