Hello SB Developers!

I am Alex Wemmer the developer of the freeware vasFMC and wanted to know, if you see any possibility to implement a link between SB and vasFMC to transfer flight plans.

vasFMC offers the feature to download routes from vroute.info, but if the pilots do so, they still have to put in the SB flight plan manually. Thus i think it would be great if vasFMC could provide the route on pilots request to SB, maybe via an FSUIPC offset?

Do you think this would be possible on your side?

Best regards, Alex

That'll save the flight plan on disk, but won't actually load it into SB3 or submit it to VATSIM. I missed this thread earlier, but it's functionality that I'd love to see as well.

Cheers!

Luke

Likewise Luke - I missed it and I know a load of vasFMC users would love it.

Hi, sorry to troll this.

It would be great if the SB FSUIPC offsets included the ability for us to read and write to the text channels, in an ACARS type of way, and to connect and disconnect to Vatsim. As a home cockpit builder, it isn't very realistic to have the SB window open and to have text messages come through on an EFIS or MCDU would be much more applicable, as would being able to connect and monitor network and multiplayer connection via a push-switch in the cockpit.

We can already change the com frequency and which one is selected without needing to use SB offsets but the above I can't find anywhere.

As for the flight plan submission, perhaps something like a pre-file might work but also it would be good for the aircraft type to be changed or stored in the ini.

Thank you
