I have a reasonably up there system (Win7, 4G RAM, 1G VCard & Quad processor) and experience problems when I try to enter major events with lots of participants (eg last week's World Flight). All appears fine for the first few minutes I connected to SB as it recognises all connected
'aircraft'. After 3-4 minutes everything stops flashing and I get a FS9 Not Responding. The one time I managed to get airborne I received a "not enough free memory, FS is closing down" msg (there were several online aircraft at the landing airport). Trouble shooting I found that the memory was being chewed like there was no tomorrow. Have browsed without luck trying to find a solution.
Questions - Is it a 32 v 64bit issue?
Is FS9 an issue with Win 7 (regardless of what MS says!)?
Is FS9 compatible with multi core processors with Win7?
Will FSX make a difference

Any assistance appreciated.

This issue is known as an Out of Memory Error or OOM and is well documented.

Do a google search for FS9 Out of Memory Error and you should be able to find a fix for this problem.
