Hello,
My iex.sms file looks like this:
| Code: |
IEX
Iex Model Set
Copyright 2007-2010 Jesus Altuve, Scott Bickford
http://www.linkedin.com/in/jaltuve
IEX_B737-700-IcelandExpress B737 FHE |
when I starting squawkbox, i have this:
| Code: |
An error occured while loading the model sets:
Model set: Iex Model Set
Unknown airline code on line 4 (FHE)
|
An ICAO-Code: for Iceland Express is FHE
What is wrong? Why it not working? |

This Airline Code is unknown to SB ...
Look into the airlines.txt in the SB folder, the Iceland Express is not there. You will have to use the Airline Code of another airline .. |

| The SMS-file only affects the computer it is installed on - that means, only YOU see the Icelandair as Iceland Express - noone else. Otherwise you will have to give the other pilots your sms and your liveries. |

So, how can I make my Iceland Express repaint visible for the oter pilots?
I have download paint from here http://skysim-paints.jimdo.com/downloads/europe/boeing-737-700/ and I install it how was in readme.txt and I have nice Boeing 737 in Iceland Express repaints, but it is visible only for me. Other pilots see my plane as Vip plane. How to make it visible for other pilots? Help me please. |

In order for other pilots to see you in your colors, you will have to make your model set available to them, either by making available for download off your web site and/or disitributing it on AVSIM, FlightSim.com, etc.
Only those that have your model set installed will see you in your colors. |

| Sorry - it's a very complex thing to do. Use the search here in the forum, it was already written down. use "SMS" as search word. |

Yes there is.
You need to distribute your model set. How do you expect other pilots to see you in your colors if they don't have the model set? |
