Hi,
I've read the previous mic calibration problems in the forum but my problem is slightly different.
After doing a re-install of FSX I can use the mic with PMDG's B747 & FS2Crew. Everything works well so the mic/headset is okay.
However, when trying to calibrate mic on SB4, it fails miserably.
I've tried to bypass this and use it on SB4 but ATC report only receiving the clicks from the mic button with no voice being transmitted.
Any ideas welcome.
Thanks |

| Do you have your sound in SB set to Wav or direct? Whatever you have it set at, try the opposite. |

Tried that without success. Also now carried out a full reinstall of FSX and everything that goes with it.
Still no voice on SB but mic working with all other programs.
Any other offers of assistance would be great guys.

Test the mic, with MSN, Team Speak, Skype something to make sure it works first. A lot of the time, its the input volume is too low in your control panel settings.
How is the mic connected? Is it USB or just plugged in to your mic port?
If USB, make sure you plug it in before started SB and that SB is set to use that device for voice.
If your using a mic that plugs in with the headphone type jack make sure your in the mic jack and not the line in port. The mic port itself could be the problem. Some mic ports have too much background noise (electronic) and the voice software can't calibrate it.
