|
|
I have not been able to start SB3, I am running FS 2004, FS runs fine ,but when I start SB (from the modules pull down) I get the first SB screen saying starting host session. That is where it freezes, The screen sweeps to the desktop and FS shuts down, the computer runs very slow for a while, then is ok. I have tryed uninstalling everything and reinstalling (FS2004 and SB) but get the same results.

| Did you put in "localhost" or "local host"? There should be no space. |

127.0.0.1?
If so, that is correct...
What Antivirus / Firewall package are you using? What router? |

| I havn't flown with SB for almost four years, (divorce grounded me) and can't wait to get back, bought FS 2004 just so I could use SB3, I'm sure this will be resolved and we will all be flying with this great community of pilots and controllers |

| I am seeing a lot of issues reported on machines with McAfee. Are either of you willing to uninstall McAfee and try it? It would help us narrow down issues.... |

It may, by stopping the services... and is worth a shot...
However, McAfee tends to "linger" on the system even if disabled from my experience. |
