Perhaps. That call is initially the Developers followed by VATSIM's Board of Govenors.
From my own personal findings with SB4 I have no issues - I was connected yesterday for 16 hours using FSX and SB4 on two computers.
Additionally I saw other testers online yesterday using both FS9 and FSX and SB4 in various configurtions; again without issue. |

Come on then boys .... looks like it could well be in time for Mother's Day here in the UK ....
That'll please our good wives/partners having us out of their hair all day on Sunday ..... in fact we can invite them up and watch us fly using SB4 ..... they'd love that wouldn't they!!!!!!!!!
Mmmmmm ..... I think NOT in my case .. I'd be dead meat!
On the serious side though ..... great work everyone involved ... and thanks Norman and Dweese for keeping us posted on the progress ...
Mmmmmm SB4 ... FSX ... and an Easter egg to chomp on .... BLISS

| Well i have been watching these forums for a long time now. The release of SB4 is very exciting. I haven't been able to fly VATSIM since I stopped flying with X-plane. I look forward to the upcoming release. Thanks so much for doing this. |

i haven't been able to fly on VATSIM since FSX came out like 14 months ago. It's been awful.. FSINN doesn't work at all for me and the program(s) are far too complicated for something as simple as logging into the network. Especially when you log 20-40 hours a month flying like I do.
The news at the beginning of this month certainly made me excited but now I've gone back to my general disappointed feeling again. I've found that in the flight simulation world, making an announcement that something is almost ready actually means it's going to be quite a bit longer, lol.
best of luck to the devs/beta testers and looking forward to it. |

Whilst I can fully understand people's desire to see a release of SB4 it doesn't mean they can come here to run down the hard work put in by the FSInn team.
All developers who freely give of their time and skill for the benefit of our community should be applauded. |
