Gents,
Like everyone, I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of SB4. However, I do realize that these things take time and will patiently continue to wait.
Forgive me if this info was posted elsewhere, but to tie us eager beavers over, can we see a feature list or some screenshots of SB4? Much appreciated.
Cheers, Steve |

Steve,
If you look up at the top of the page you will see a link to the SB3 manual.
Looks, behaves and carries the same features. |

Have the included VIP/CSL liveries with SB4 been updated? I know their have been several new discount carriers which have come on the scene in the last 2 or 3 years - especially in Europe.

Jim,
In brief, no. Those included with SB4 are identical to the set in SB3.1
The beauty of the Squawkbox system is that users can create and add additional model sets. |

Your point being Matt?
Pehaps I would have been better saying that SB4 looks and feels like SB3 but includes a completely new set of code to work around the completely undocumented FSX multiplayer system.
SB3 was designed a pilot client. No frills. No bells. No whistles. SB4 is just the same. |

Norman, perhaps folks are just frustrated because there is a lack of understanding as to why its taking so long to get SB4. Truthfully, I am anxious to get it as well, partly because I really don't know what's involved, the approval required, and what other priorities people (developers) have in their life. I took a huge hit by moving my sim to FSX knowing I wouldn't have SB. So in most cases, view the reactions as a form of compliment, people are anxious for the utility, especially because there isn't another product that compares.
I also understand that communicating regularily takes time away from finalizing the product, so perhaps the approach next time should be to remain 'completely quiet' or have a volunteer (I'd do it) to provide regular updates to the community. Even if it doesn't include launch dates. My 2 cents.....but still eagering awaiting the arrival of SB4.
Cheers, Steve

I would say that if the code is undocumented, then you have no idea on why & how it works. So designing a addon to work with something you have no idea about it's inner workings, would I guess be pretty complicated to do.
